Buno 149371, along with a number of other H-34s, was found parked behind a hanger on State Route 191 in the town of Sunsites, Arizona. In most cases, the H-34s are missing engines and tail rotors. While most are painted in the mate green paint scheme that the Marine Corps used during the war in Viet Nam, others seem to have paint schemes from who knows where. The only Buno that was visible was 149371. A number of years ago, this site also had half a dozen USCG H-52s parked amongst the H-34s. They are now parked behind the local Baptist Church (?). ”
