She was named Mother Goose, crewed by F/E Jerry McBee, now deceased and me
Dan Markell. Part of a 16 ship ASHC deployed to Can Tho, RVN In Jan68. Mother Goose was shot down, controlled crash, subsequently burned to the ground. NO loss of life due to skill of pilots

upper left, 126 in country first week or so. Upper right, May 9, 1968 after being shot down, burnt to a a crisp, no casualties! Good thing Charlie hit the engines and aft pylon instead of the head shed.
