Kebabangam is principally a gas field in the Tembungo area of the Sabah Basin, discovered in 1994. The floating KBB platform was built as an integrated production facility to handle gas, condensate and crude oil. Other fields in the KBB Cluster also feed via undersea pipeline to the platform. First gas was produced in Nov 2014 and is exported via a 135km undersea pipeline to an onshore facility at Kimanis.
