Announced in 2009 as the Z-15 is the Eurocopter / Airbus Helicopters EC175 produced in China for Chinese operators. First prototype unveiled by Avicopter in September 2015. First flight with WZ16 (Ardiden 3C) engines was in Harbin on December 20, 2016.
The AC352 completed extensive functionality and reliability flight tests-including long-distance day and night missions and operations in extreme environments by May 28, 2022
On July 26, 2022, the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) issued the type certificate for the AC352, officially approving it for entry into the domestic civil aviation market.
Meanwhile, a separate milestone: the french-built Airbus H175 itself was certified by the CAAC on July 19, 2023, paving the way for deliveries of that version into China
