First announced in 2022, the heavy-lift-capable unmanned air system (UAS) Camcopter S-300 is an enlarged version of the Camcopter S-100.
With a maximum payload capacity of 250 kg and a maximum endurance of 24 hours, the S-300 is a Vertical Takeoff and Landing (VTOL) UAS initially developed for the South Korean Navy. It is intended for intelligence, surveillance, target acquisition, and reconnaissance (ISTAR) operations and is capable of dropping sonobuoys for Anti-Submarine Warfare (ASW).
