Seven H135P3H (Helionix) to be received between October 2023 and October 2025 be used in the training role as replacement of the Hughes 500 by 012 squadron Nival .

In December 2025, the Navy H135 fleet reached 2,000 flight hours.

The Spanish Navy (Armada) Airbus H135 P3H “Nival” is the first Airbus helicopter to enter service with the Navy. A fleet of seven aircraft operates with the 12ª Escuadrilla at Rota Naval Base, fully qualified for shipborne operations and primarily used for advanced pilot training, replacing the Hughes 500.

Dec 24, 2021 · Airbus Spain will deliver starting next year 11 H135 to the Spanish Air Force (replacing S-76) and 7 to the Navy (replace MD500). Another 18 will be delivered to the National Police and Civil Guard (Bo105/Bk117)
