    After a long service including tour in Vietnam, the UH-1B were replaced by the Squirrel in 1984. Survivors were transferred to the RAAF School of Radio at Laverton and finally disposed by 1993.

    Australian Huey helicopters are featured in the Danger Close, The Battle of Long Tan movie
