Eurocopter, March 22, 2013 - by Erin Callender - After an incredible adventure during its Demo Tour in the United States from February 25 to March15, the EC175 has now made it back to Eurocopter's headquarters in Marseille, France.
Taking off from Dallas, Texas, and after an overnight flight on the Antonov cargo plane, the EC175 was welcomed back on French soil by its dedicated team of mechanics, engineers and pilots.
This first leg of this aircraft's worldwide demo tour planned for 2013 was a huge success, with passengers and pilots alike praising the aircraft's smooth ride, high performance, state-of-the-art avionics systems, and intuitive design - an open and comfortable cabin, large bubble windows for easy emergency exit and ease of maintenance, to name a few.
