
Helis, March 13, 2025 - Menominee, MI – Enstrom Helicopter Corporation has introduced the 480B Elite, the latest variant in its 480B series.
This new model incorporates modernized avionics, updated design features, and enhanced customization options.
Deliveries are scheduled to begin in the third quarter of 2025.
A key upgrade in the 480B Elite is its advanced cockpit, which now includes a Garmin G500H glass panel display, complemented by Garmin GTN750/GTN650 digital audio radios and ADS-B In/Out surveillance capabilities. Additionally, a Genesys autopilot system enhances flight control and operational efficiency.
The aircraft is powered by the Rolls-Royce 250-C20W turbine engine, delivering 305 shaft horsepower (shp). Performance specifications include a maximum cruise speed of 113 knots, a range of 360 nautical miles, and a flight endurance of 4.6 hours.
Exterior aesthetics have been refined with paint schemes designed by Dean Loucks, while the interior offers various customization options to accommodate operator preferences.
Despite these updates, the 480B Elite retains the proven handling characteristics of the original 480B series, providing pilots with a familiar yet modernized flying experience.
