Dallas Avionics, August 21, 2025 - Dallas Avionics conducted a unique learning experience for students this week in Seguin, Texas, while partnering with Texas Parks and Wildlife and Friedens Early Learning Center.
Students were able to interact with aircraft, ask pilots questions, and learned about the many operations helicopter pilots can perform.
Cody Klaehn, Dallas Avionics Government Agency Sales Executive, said “The aviation industry needs to continually reach out to young students to teach them all about becoming pilots, crew members, and aviation mechanics. With the recent floods in Texas, students saw firsthand how important helicopters can be to protect our region. I am grateful that the school expressed an interest in learning, and to the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department for flying in their aircraft for students to have such a unique learning experience.”
One of the crew members who was there that day was also present during the floods and conducted multiple rescues. Students were able to ask about the missions he flew and about all that happened. Cambry Terry serves as the director at Friedens Early Learning Academy.
“Our students at Friedens Early Learning Academy had a sky-high learning experience when they got to see a real helicopter up close during a special demonstration on campus,” said Terry.
