Ecocopter, August 10, 2024 - Gramado, Brasil - From August 9 to 17, the city of Gramado in Rio Grande do Sul will transform into a hub of art, culture, and entertainment. This beautiful city in southern Brazil will host the 52nd edition of the Gramado Film Festival, the most important and prestigious award ceremony in the Brazilian audiovisual sector.

To enhance efficiency and facilitate transport to the city, Helisul, a company that has been operating helicopters in the region since 2023 and providing scenic flights between Gramado and Canela, will transport guests and artists.

"More than 20 flights are planned from Canoas and Caxias do Sul airports to the helipad in Canela, the neighboring city of the Festival. From there, the artists will continue by car to Gramado – a journey of about 20 minutes," explains Bruno Biesuz, Helisul's Chief Operating Officer.

With some roads still compromised, Helisul's transportation will ease the journey, providing more comfort and safety to the guests and everyone involved, ensuring the festival can take place in the best possible way without delays or issues.

The rains between April and May 2024 impacted the entire state of Rio Grande do Sul, and Gramado was not spared. Helisul's helicopters were present at that time. The company is again part of Gramado's history in a scenario of reconstruction and optimism.

This initiative will speed up the festival's guests' transportation and help foster the culture and tourism resurgence in this exuberant region of Rio Grande do Sul. "We are delighted to be part of this action because we understand the importance of the Festival for Brazil and the world, being a heritage of our culture," comments Bruno Biesuz.

The Serra Gaúcha is one of the main tourist attractions in Rio Grande do Sul, with Gramado as an actual postcard of the region. The tourism resurgence is essential for boosting the local economy and, consequently, the city's overall recovery. "Therefore, Helisul's initiative is so significant for the beautiful city and the entire region," concludes Biesuz.
