Arne Arneson, General Manager of VIH Aerospace explains that 2015 has been a banner year for business as well as one that is ushering in key changes that will positively impact the helicopter market in coming years.
He explains that in addition to its historical MRO services, in recent years VIH Aerospace has expanded its range of capability to include Supplemental Type Certificate development; where it has engineered and manufactured a wide range of auxiliary and mission-specific equipment for practically all aircraft types it supports; in roles ranging from utility operations to helicopter firefighting; Search and Rescue, Offshore Oil and Gas/Exploration, and several others.
‘In 2015, VIH Aerospace became a significant player in the aerospace manufacturing sector. We have developed and continue to grow market share by attracting various rotary and fixed wing operators, mission equipment specialists and OEMS,’ says Arneson.
