Rostec, July 25, 2021 - Aviakapital-Service, a subsidiary of Rostec State Corporation, and Russian Helicopter Systems LLC signed a contract for the lease of Ansat helicopters.

The document was signed by the General Director of Russian Helicopter Systems (RVS) Alexei Zaitsev and General Director of Aviakapital-Service Roman Pakhomov. As a result of the transaction, the number of Ansats in the RVS fleet will increase to 19 vehicles.

The signing took place within the framework of the International Aviation and Space Salon (MAKS-2021) taking place these days.

According to the terms of the contract, Russian Helicopter Systems will receive at its disposal two Ansat helicopters on a lease basis. The vehicles have a multipurpose purpose and will be used, among other things, for the needs of medical aviation.

Russian Helicopter Systems is the largest operator of new domestic twin-engine Ansat helicopters - today there are 17 aircraft of this class in the RVS fleet. Most of the helicopters (15 units) are provided with sanitary equipment and are equipped with a modern medical module manufactured by the Kazan Helicopter Plant.

Russian Helicopter Systems is the leading operator of new domestic helicopters: the airline not only became the first and largest operator of Ansat, but also the first civilian operator of the new domestic Mi-38 helicopter, which occupied a promising niche between medium Mi-8/17 and heavy helicopters Mi-26.

In addition, the fleet of Russian Helicopter Systems also includes helicopters manufactured by Leonardo Helicopters (AW109 and AW139), as well as domestic Mi-8 AMT / MTV helicopters.

Recall that in May this year, within the framework of the International Helicopter Industry Exhibition HeliRussia-2021, Russian Helicopter Systems signed a contract for the supply of the first five light VRT500 helicopters, which will replenish the airline's fleet by the end of 2024.

The company is an active participant in the development program of the domestic air ambulance. In total, since June 2017, the crews of Russian Helicopter Systems have evacuated more than 10 thousand patients in various regions of Russia.

The International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 is held from 20 to 25 July in Zhukovsky, Moscow Region. The event is organized by the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation and the State Corporation Rostec.

New Leasing company in Ulyanovsk

State Corporation Rostec will create a specialized company for the leasing of air transport on the territory of the Ulyanovsk region.

The agreement on the implementation of such a project was signed at the International Aviation and Space Salon MAKS-2021 by the head of the region Alexey Russkikh, the head of the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation Sergey Vasin and the General Director of Aviakapital-Service LLC Roman Pakhomov in the presence of the General Director of the Rostec State Corporation Sergey Chemezov.

“Our region has great potential for the development of the aviation industry. A number of enterprises of the aviation complex operate in Ulyanovsk, there is a special economic zone of the port type with a special tax and customs regime, which is focused on the implementation of projects in the field of production, maintenance and repair of aviation equipment, and cargo logistics. We welcome and support initiatives for the further growth of the aviation cluster, the emergence of highly qualified jobs, ”said the head of the region, Alexei Russkikh.

The fleet of aircraft participating in the project will be at least ten helicopters, including Ansat, Mi-38, Mi-8 and others. The total cost of the park at the start of the project is estimated at about 4 billion rubles.

“The volume of investments at the initial stage will amount to 4 billion rubles. The availability of a ready-made infrastructure, favorable conditions for investors, as well as the presence of partners in Ulyanovsk will help to ensure the fastest possible start of the project. The status of a particularly significant investment project and a special tax regime will allow us to offer aircraft and helicopter operators, manufacturers and service companies the most attractive financial conditions, ”said Roman Pakhomov, General Director of Aviakapital-Service.

At the next stage, it is possible to expand the fleet of the leasing company with MC-21-300, Sukhoi Superjet 100, Il-114-300 aircraft. Also, as part of the partnership between Rostec State Corporation and the region, the possibility of creating a UAC customization center in the region is being discussed in order to simplify the logistics of supplies and provide even more attractive conditions for cooperation for customers.

“The company's project meets the necessary criteria and can claim to be awarded the status of a particularly significant investment project. Obtaining the appropriate status by the company will allow the investor to receive support in the form of financial incentives, and the Ulyanovsk region - to provide tax revenues to the regional budget in the amount of more than 200 million rubles over the next 15 years, ”said Sergei Vasin, General Director of the Ulyanovsk Region Development Corporation.
