Specialist Aviation Services, September 26, 2010 - Specialist Aviation Services is pleased to announce signing a contract with Luxemboug Air Rescue for the maintenance of their entire helicopter fleet.
The contract involves the maintenance of five MD 902 Explorers which LAR operates in the Benelux region together with a sixth one operated by the Luxembourg Police.
Line maintenance will be done at the LAR facilities, whilst annual and periodic inspections will be done at SAS main base at Gloucestershire Airport and at SAS’ Belgium based company ESC which also acts as a main distribution hub for MD Helicopter spares.
SAS is now responsible for the maintenance of over 25 MD 902 Explorers and the total number of helicopters and fixed wing aircraft maintained by the Group is now in excess of 40.
Specialist Aviation Services is also parent to Police Aviation Services and air ambulance operator Medical Aviation Services.
