PGZ, August 31, 2015 - On 1-4 September the Polish Armaments Group (PGZ) will be participating in the 23rd International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO) in Kielce.

The companies concentrated in the Group (from the 1st and 2nd stage of consolidation) will be shown in a joint exhibition for the first time. Also the “Strategy of PGZ Capital Group for 2015-2030” will be presented during the event.

During MSPO 2015 PGZ is going to demonstrate the present and planned involvement of the Group in the execution of individual programmes included in the Technical Modernization Plan of the Polish Armed Forces for 2013-2022. PGZ’s exhibition (Hall ‘C’, Targi Kielce) will be composed of 5 main product stands, which correspond to the most important modernization programmes:

- “Individual Soldier Equipment,”
- “Aerial & Geospatial Reconnaissance,”
- “Air Defence System,”
- “Combating Threats at Sea” and
- “Ground Systems”.

In addition, the exhibition will be expanded by additional stands: “Ammunition” and “Modernization and Service” as well as an outdoor presentation.

“We want to show that the Polish defence industry concentrated in PGZ is already taking a significant part in the modernization of the Polish Army,” said Wojciech Dąbrowski, President of the Management Board of PGZ.

“But our ambitions reach much farther. We would like to win successive contracts, for example on the integration and supply of “Narew” short-range air defence system, the construction of “Miecznik” and “Czapla” vessels or the delivery of “Wizjer” and “Orlik” unmanned aircraft systems. We have a huge potential and unique experience. We are going to talk about it during this year’s MSPO,” added President Dąbrowski.

The products exhibited by PGZ will include in particular SOŁA very short range air defence radar, GROM mobile anti-aircraft missile set and its successor PIORUN, Orbiter-2B and E-310 unmanned aircraft systems, KRAB self-propelled howitzer on the Korean chassis and MSBS modular firearm system.

The Group will also demonstrate its expertise in the field of sea systems. On the first day of MSPO (1st September), the Group will present the “Strategy of PGZ Capital Group for 2015-2030”. The Strategy contains the mission, vision, values and strategic goals of PGZ in the long perspective. “We are proud of the strategy we developed. It is an ambitious and realistic plan based on the results of profound analyses of the companies belonging to PGZ and to the Group’s external environment.

In order to design the strategy, we employed a completely pioneer solution in the Polish armaments sector: we engaged more than 150 specialists from our companies in the preparation, making use of their experience in the industry. As a result, an ambitious strategic action plan was created and will make PGZ a strong and modern business organisation,” said President Dąbrowski.

PGZ is the leader of the Polish industry and one of the largest defence groups in Europe. It concentrates more than 30 companies (of defence, shipyard, new technologies sectors), achieving annual revenue of circa PLN 5 billion.
