Aviation Specialties Unlimited, March 02, 2019 - BOISE, Idaho - Aviation Specialties Unlimited, Inc., (ASU) announced this week that the company will introduce the new E3 Lightweight Night Vision Goggles manufactured by ASU at HELI EXPO 2019 in Atlanta, GA.
“The technology is advancing, the materials are improving and the time was right to bring the E3 Lightweight NVG to market,” said ASU President Jim Winkel. “Pilots and crew members, no matter what industry they are in, have always asked for reduced weight googles, battery packs and helmet mounts. Now we have a lighter product. You couple the E3 with our new Aeronox™ mount and battery pack and you have a system that weighs significantly less without sacrificing performance or quality in any way.”
ASU will host a press conference at 1 p.m., Wednesday, March 6 in room B207.
The new E3 prototype, helmet mount and battery pack will be revealed for members of the media to see, and photograph. A panel of leaders from ASU will be on hand to give a brief overview and will field questions about the E3.
The panel of ASU speakers will include President James Winkel, Chief Technology Officer Dr. Joseph Estrera and Director of Operations Justin Watlington.
