The company's commitment to sustainability is evident in its decision to offset all passenger flights with carbon dioxide compensation since January 1, 2023. Swiss Helicopter also uses Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) to reduce its carbon footprint.
In addition to its passenger flights, Swiss Helicopter also offers climate-compensated transport flights and flight school training. The company plans to convert its company vehicles to electric cars and install solar panels on its hangars in the future.
Rolf Heuberger, CEO of Swiss Helicopter said "This is a great starting point for our sustainability strategy. Of course, our goal is not yet achieved. We want to continue to develop and meet our customers' needs even better."
