Entrol Bell 429 Simulator for the Helicopter Institute

Entrol, March 11, 2025 - Madrid - Entrol, the manufacturer of EASA and FAA certified FNPT, FTD, and FFS flight simulators, announces the sale of a Bell 429 FTD Level 5 to Helicopter Institute, one of the most prestigious helicopter training centers in the United States. The installation is scheduled for summer 2025, further strengthening the academy’s training capabilities at its Fort Worth, Texas facility.

The Bell 429 FTD Level 5 has been designed to deliver immersive and highly effective training experience, tailored to the needs of aspiring and professional pilots. The cockpit is equipped with Garmin GTN 650H Xi and GTN 750H Xi avionics, providing an authentic operational experience that optimizes learning and cockpit adaptation.

Additionally, the simulator includes a GMA340H intercom system, ensuring seamless communication between instructors and trainees during training sessions. It also features an advanced 200ºx40º cylindrical visual system, which recreates highly realistic flight environments and enhances pilot situational awareness.

The flight simulator operates with a detailed database based on X-Plane 11, enabling the recreation of flight environments tailored to Helicopter Institute’s specific training requirements.
