In coordination with a C295M from Esq 502, a Merlin from Esq 751 lifted a member of the crew of the Liberian registered freighter Vega Virgo, c 650km W of Montijo to the airport at Francisco Sá where an ambulance was waiting to transport the patient the 10km or so to Hospital de São João in Porto.
