BASARNAS (Badan Nasional Pencarian dan Pertolongan) is Indonesia’s national search and rescue agency, responsible for coordinating air, sea, and land SAR operations across the country’s vast archipelago. Operating one of the world’s most geographically complex rescue zones, BASARNAS works with military, police, and civilian aviation partners to respond to aircraft accidents, maritime incidents, natural disasters, and remote-area emergencies.
