Helibras

Helicopteros do Brasil S.A. ( Helicopters of Brazil Inc ) was founded 1 January 1978 in Sao Jose dos Campos as a joint venture of Sao Paulo state and French Aerospatiale which became Eurocopter in 1992. In 2006 Helibras became a wholly owned subsidiary of Eurocopter. Since 2014 is part of Airbus Helicopters.

As of 2011, Helibras has assembled about 500 helicopters. By 2019 the number of delivered helicopers reached 800.

Helibras has facilities in Minas Gerais, Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro, Atibaia and Brasilia.
