Sabena Technics

Sabena Technics is a leading European provider of aircraft maintenance, modification, and support services headquartered in Paris, France. The company traces its roots back to the maintenance division of Sabena, Belgium’s former national airline, and became independent in the early 2000s following the airline’s closure.

Over the years, Sabena Technics has grown into a major Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO) specialist, serving both civil and military operators. With facilities across France—including Dinard, Bordeaux, and Nîmes—the company provides comprehensive maintenance solutions for fixed- and rotary-wing aircraft, avionics integration, painting, and cabin modifications, as well as full fleet management support.

In 2022, Sabena Technics acquired Héli-Union, a major French helicopter operator and support company, fully integrating its rotary-wing operations and offshore expertise. Through this acquisition, Sabena Technics significantly expanded its helicopter maintenance and mission-support capabilities, particularly for Airbus Helicopters platforms used in offshore transport, search-and-rescue, and government service roles.
