Uzbekistan air forces formed 1991 following the collapse of the Soviet Union in 1991 with Mi-8 and Mi-24 helicopters.
In 2016 Airbus supplied an unknown number of AS350 (probably 6) and AS332 (2). In 2019 signed Letter of Intent (LoI) with France for the delivery of 34 helicopters
