Embraer, established in 1969, is the third (or fourth) top aircraft manufacturer in the world producing commercial, military and executive types.
On January 2013 signed a MoU with AgustaWestland aiming at establishing a joint-venture to produced their models in Brazil but on April of the same year was announced that their negotiations were terminated without reaching any agreement.
Since 1978, Aerospatiale (then Eurocopter, now Airbus Helicopters) already produced helicopters in Brazil under the name Helibras.
