    Established 1981, Air Med of the Acadian Ambulance serves 34 parishes in Louisiana and 37 counties in Texas and Jackson, Mississippi. Operated by Metro Aviation since 2002

    In 2018 flew more first-response missions than any other air ambulance program in the country.

    - Air Med Station 2, Houma, LA
    - Air Med Station 3, Baton Rouge, LA
    - Air Med Station 4, Alexandria, LA
    - Air Med Station 5, Lake Charles, LA
    - Air Med Station 6, Hammond, LA
    - Air Med Station 7, Monroe, LA
    - Air Med Station 21, Silsbee, TX
    - CHNOLA 1, Childrens Hospital, New Orleans, LA

    As of 2020, operates 12 helicopters and 7 fixed-wing aircraft.

Currently operates 11 EC135 helicopters and 5 fixed-wing aircraft from bases throughout Louisiana and Southeast Texas
