The US Helicopter Safety Team (USHST) is a volunteer team of US government and industry stakeholders formed to improve the safety of civil helicopter operations in the National Airspace System. The USHST is a partner of the Vertical Aviation Safety Team (VAST).

03-Feb-15 - During 2014 US civil helicopters experienced 3.64 accidents per 100,000 flight hours, a 26 percent reduction compared to 2013 and a 54 percent reduction compared to the 2001-05 baseline accident rate
