Founded April 1985 as EastCare is a not-for-profit air ambulance health system in eastern North Carolina. Flying from Pitt County Memorial Hospital located at Greenville and from Elm City and Rocky Mount.
The Bo105/Bk117 were operated by Rocky Mountain Helicopters / Air Methods.
In January 2012 changed name to Vidant EastCare Medical Transport.
Operated by Metro Aviation from November 2013.
In May 2022, Vidant EastCare became ECU Health EastCare.
