I saw the photos of this crash from one of the crew when at Westlands. It was in a low hover doing trials for the EH101 sonar. One of the engines failed and it ditched. The tail fuselage was bent as it hit the water first. I was told it sank as one of the flotation pontoons was punctured by a vessel alongside
