An advance party of two 3 CBAS Gazelle AH.1 were flown in on 21 Apr 1991 on two C-130 Hercules from RAF Lyneham, to take part in Operation Haven. On 5 May, two further 3 CBAS Gazelles were flown in from RAF Lyneham, to join the remainder of the unit (by now in northern Iraq) for Op Haven.
