The Leviathan Production Platform (LPP) is a near-shore processing facility taking Gas from the Leviathan field, a further 60nm NW of the platform. The Leviathan field was discovered in Jun 2010 within Miocene and Oligocene formations and 4 wells in the field (in Block 1/14 in the Levant Basin) are connected to a seafloor manifold, which is then connected onward to the LPP much closer inshore. Production started on 21 Dec 2019.
