The Changhua Ph 2a SW windfarm consists of 36 turbines spread across 61 km2 in waters between c 40m and 60m deep, generating c 295MW. The 3 cables make landfall near Lukang. The system was commissioned in Sep 2023 and is remotely controlled and maintained from Taichung.
