Named H.10 (former Z-10) in Spaniard service, the first 3 units were adcquired in 1974 for the Army flying school at Cuatro Vientos which was transferred to the Air Force in 1978. The Ejercito del Aire, already user of the Agusta AB205, adcquired 3 more UH-1H in 1975 for SAR duties and a last one for the VIP role.
Many more Hueys were assigned to the Army
