Seven initially ordered for the 2211th Combat Squadron, 22nd Combat Wing at Simon Bolivar airbase. One lost in accident and replaced. More orders were announced but after 4 crashes, reportedly due to mechanical failure, the Air Force grounded the type and unilaterally terminated the contract on October 2015
The ecuadorian Govt purchased 8 and 4 came down in different accidents
