Following the formation of Airbus Helicopters in 2014, the company inherited Eurocopters 62.5 share in the NHIndustries consortium and became the industrial lead for the NH90 Tactical Transport Helicopter (TTH) variant, responsible for its development, final assembly and support for multiple export customers.
In 2020, Airbus Helicopters was selected as the lead final assembly site for the NH90 Standard 2 special operations variant.
