On May 5, 2023, Deputy Prime Minister Mariusz Blaszczak announced that Poland would receive a first batch of 8 AH-64 Apache helicopters, presumably from U.S. Army stock, to accelerate training. However, the delivery timeline and model was not disclosed.
In August 2024, Poland signed the Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Letter of Offer and Acceptance (LOA) for the 96 helicopters.
