Used by the RAN since Jun 1984 initially with ships flights, later for training, range control support and utility flying. 8 AS350BA Squirrels formally transferred in from the RAAF in Oct 2000. By their 20th anniversary in service, they had achieved 42,500 flying hours with the RAN.
