AVIC AC312E Completes Stability Test Flight
AVIC, August 13, 2018 - On July 21st, the AC312E helicopter developed by the Chinese aviation industry Hafei successfully completed the stability test flight marking an important step for the airworthiness verification of the aircraft.

On July 11, the AC312E helicopter flew to the Jiansanjiang Wetlands Airport in Heilongjiang Province to carry out the test flight work.

After 10 days, the evaluation team completed the helicopter stability, power plant cooling, lighting system and minimum unit verification test flights. A total of 13 flights which lasted 18 hours.

The AC312E helicopter had previously completed the autopilot tuning and airworthiness, air restart, helicopter vibration, engine vibration and instrument panel vibration airworthiness test flights.

Subsequently, the aircraft will also conduct flight tests for the power system, electromagnetic compatibility, cockpit display system, fire extinguishing agent concentration and the verification of individual avionics equipment.

The AC312E, a light twin-engine helicopter, is being developed by AVIC Hafei in Harbin. Has a max take-off weight of 4.25 ton and can carry nine passengers.
