AeroBrigham, July 30, 2022 - With nine fixed- and rotor-wing airframe completions and reconfigurations delivered in the first six months of 2022, North Texas maintenance repair and overhaul (MRO) facility, AeroBrigham, is poised for record growth.

More aircraft are on the books for the second part of the year with a mix of law enforcement, fire suppression, air medical, and corporate configurations planned.

Recent deliveries included two AT802F Fire Boss fixed-wing fire bombers, a Bell 429 for Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Department in South Louisiana, another 429 for Collier County Sheriff’s Department in Florida, and four Bell 429 airframes for the Jamaica Defence Force.

An additional Bell 407GX was converted from a VIP configuration to a fire suppression mission role.

The company is planning expansion to maintain the pace of work with ongoing hiring and a new comprehensive fixed and rotor wing support facility planned that will be adjacent to the current building located on the Decatur Municipal Airport. The Decatur Municipal Airport is less than a one-hour drive north of the Dallas Ft. Worth International Airport.

All airframes delivered so far this year involved extensive modifications with the Collier County airframe being completed in conjunction with CNC Technologies which included a sophisticated microwave down link with military grade encryption as well as a hoist, MX15 thermal imager, Meeker nose and tail mounts, Trakka TLX search light, and an AEM (Eagle) digital audio system.

The customization also included many other comprehensive law enforcement equipment installations.

The four Bell 429 airframes were the last of seven total new completions provided to the government of Jamaica and included installation of the AeroBrigham developed Tactical Flight Officer (TFO) station with the ability to quickly install or remove the station from the cabin area. The law enforcement aircraft can easily be converted to an air medical mission profile on demand.

AeroBrigham will be exhibiting during the Airborne Public Safety Association (APSA) 51 st annual convention and exposition this year in Reno, Nevada with show dates from July 27-29 at the Reno- Sparks Convention Center.

The company will showcase their newly developed Heads-Up Display (HUD) designed to reduce pilot workload and improve mission efficiency by utilizing night vision sensors as well as aircraft performance data. The advance system is particularly well suited for fixed and rotary wing public service aircraft.
