Davenport Aviation, January 17, 2020 - Albuquerque, NM – Davenport Aviation, Inc. delivered an Airbus H125 helicopter to the Albuquerque Police Department, which was celebrated at a ribbon cutting ceremony at the Sid Cutter Pilot’s Pavilion in Albuquerque.
The Albuquerque Police Department has waited 18 years for a new helicopter, and with their new aircraft the department’s pilots will be able to fly higher and longer during rescue missions and criminal apprehensions with its improved margins of safety.
Davenport Aviation, Inc. worked proudly with the police department to increase the force’s public safety capabilities, as the H125 will provide better support for ground patrol units in criminal suspect pursuits with its state-of-the-art camera and GPS system.
Mayor Tim Keller stated that the acquisition of the Airbus H125 will “effectively and adequately help support public safety in Albuquerque.” We look forward to supporting the Albuquerque Police Department’s operations for years to come.
