VIH Aerospace, March 02, 2022 - North Saanich, BC, Canada - VIH Aerospace (VIHA), a leading provider of helicopter manufacturing, maintenance, repair and overhaul (MMRO) services based at Victoria International Airport in Canada, has received EASA and FAA approval for its H135 left-hand vertical (bubble) reference window.
STC 09-43 was previously approved by Transport Canada, the FAA and EASA for the right-hand configuration and now the left-hand configuration has also received Transport Canada, FAA and EASA approvals.
Marc Leduc, VIHA MRO sales manager stated. “Now the H135 can operate with either the left, the right or both bubble windows installed. Arne Arneson, VIHA general manager, added. “The addition of the left-hand configuration to our previously approved right-hand configuration provides H135 cockpit crews with unrestricted visibility from both seats, thereby ensuring safer and efficient helicopter operations.”
