CAMTS, November 22, 2025 - The Commission on Accreditation of Medical Transport Systems (CAMTS) announced the accreditation of fourteen medical transport programs following its Fall 2025 Board meeting.
These programs demonstrated full compliance with CAMTS’ rigorous standards for patient care, safety, and operational performance — standards that continue to exceed regulatory requirements and represent the industry’s highest benchmark for quality.
Jan Eichel, Executive Director of CAMTS, said “Achieving CAMTS accreditation is a significant accomplishment. Each organization undergoes an in-depth, independent review of clinical care, safety practices, training, and operational processes. The programs recognized this fall have shown a strong commitment to continuous improvement and the delivery of high-quality care in some of the most demanding environments.”
This accreditation cycle reflects a broad range of transport providers across diverse regions of the United States. CAMTS continues to see growth in integrated systems, expanding mobile healthcare programs, and multidisciplinary operations, highlighting the evolving landscape of medical transport and the increasing importance of standardized, high-reliability practices.
The following programs were awarded accreditation:
• Atlantic Ambulance Corporation, Florham Park, NJ
• Prisma Health Mobile Integrated Health, Seneca, SC
• Sierra Medical Services Alliance, Reno, NV
• Air Evac Lifeteam – South Region, O’Fallon, MO
• Air Methods Northeast Region, Poland, NY
• Airlift Northwest, Seattle, WA
• Classic Air Medical, Murray, UT
• Geisinger Health System Life Flight, Danville, PA
• Guardian Flight West Region North, Lander, WY
• LifeFlight of Maine, Bangor, ME
• LifeMed Alaska, Anchorage, AK
• Novant Health AirLink & VitaLink, Wilmington, NC
• Ochsner Flight Care, New Orleans, LA
• Superior Air Ambulance Service, Elmhurst, IL
“Maintaining accreditation requires ongoing effort,” Eichel added. “Our standards are continuously refined by experts across medicine, aviation, safety, and communications, and each accredited program commits to a cycle of regular audits, transparent reporting, and continuous improvement.”
Nearly 200 transport services are currently accredited by CAMTS.
