AgustaWestland, February 24, 2009 - AgustaWestland, a Finmeccanica company, is pleased to announce that Eolo Plus of Mexico has taken delivery of a second AW119 Ke single engine helicopter.
Eolo Plus has ordered a total of seven AgustaWestland aircraft comprising four AW119 Ke and three Grand helicopters for offshore and executive transport applications.
Eolo Plus owns the first AW119 helicopter in Mexico available for charter. They are a prime provider of upscale private aviation services including national and international fixed-wing and rotorcraft transport, EMS transport services, offshore transport and VIP/corporate transport.
AgustaWestland has experienced a progressively and rapidly increasing presence in Mexico in recent years through its commercial product range. In recent years, AgustaWestland market share in the Americas' has increased tremendously with strong sales of its entire range of commercial helicopters.
The AW119 Ke single engine and Grand light twin helicopters have achieved great success for a number of applications including offshore transport, VIP/corporate transport, emergency medical service, law enforcement, scheduled service, and government roles.
