Eurocopter, March 04, 2013 - Heli-Expo, Las Vegas, NV - With the recent certification of the 2nd Battery Installation for the EC130 B4 and the Cable Cutter installation for the AS350, Eurocopter Canada Limited (ECL) has increased the range of kitted Supplemental Type Certificates (STC’s) for Eurocopter’s AS350, EC130 and EC120 product range.
With the 2nd battery installation on the EC130, operators can benefit from improved cold weather starting, improved center of gravity (8 seat configuration), reduced ballast and an increased battery capacity. Whereas, cable cutter installation is designed to improved safety of passengers and crew.
