Astronautics, February 24, 2024 - ANAHEIM, CALIFORNIA – Astronautics Corporation of America is demonstrating its IBEX Large Area Display (LAD) for the first time at HAI Heli-Expo 2024, Booth 2322.

Astronautics’ IBEX LAD is a fully-redundant, resistive multi-touch 20”x8” video display that supports flight, navigation, engine, and mission system functions and symbology generated by an external computing source. The IBEX LAD delivers both superb optical performance and ruggedness in extreme environments at an affordable price point.

The IBEX LAD leverages Astronautics’ modular approach to hardware and software development, allowing original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) and operators configurable options, such as:

- Custom bezel key arrays.
- Unique installation and mounting characteristics.
- Multiple video interface mediums with built-in redundancy.
- Tailored viewing angle to meet program requirements.

“Astronautics is pleased to demonstrate its IBEX LAD at Heli-Expo 2024,” said Eyton Zelazo, Astronautics’ director of displays and cockpit integration. “The versatility, optical performance, and customizability of this semi-smart LAD makes it suited for cockpit upgrade and systems integration programs, along with OEM line-fit positions.”

For a demonstration of Astronautics’ IBEX LAD and other IBEX form factors, including 15.6” and 5”x5,” visit Booth 2322, at HAI Heli-Expo 2024 in Anaheim, California, February 27-29, or contact: [email protected].
