P1AR Rescue Training for US Coast Guard

Search and Rescue training company Priority 1 Air Rescue (P1AR) provides initial helicopter hoist operator training to the US Coast Guard at the Aviation Training Center (ATC) in Mobile, Alabama

P1AR, September 25, 2021 - MESA, AZ - Priority 1 Air Rescue (P1AR), a world leader in helicopter search-and-rescue (SAR) mission operational support and training, announced that it has completed a live flight training course with the United States Coast Guard (USCG) Aviation Training Center (ATC) located in Mobile, Alabama.

P1AR provided advanced instructor-led training in specialized helicopter flood/swift-water rescue and hoisting emergency procedures to USCG standardization team instructor pilots, flight mechanics, and aviation survival technician rescue swimmers.

The USCG has awarded P1AR a multi-year contract to provide initial helicopter hoist operator training to new flight mechanics utilizing P1AR’s state of the art Advanced Aircrew Mission Simulator (AAMS) and hoist procedure training device located at the Search and Rescue Tactical Training Academy (SART/TAC) located in Mesa, Arizona.
