Precision Helicopters, February 27, 2018 - Precision, LLC (“Precision Helicopters”) the Oregon based helicopter operator, announced it has completed the acquisition of J.R. Helicopters, LLC (“J.R.H”).
Since 1983, Precision Helicopters has offered a growing number of aviation services and continues to expand. The transaction between Precision Helicopters and J.R.H. allows Precision to quickly meet the increased demands of its growing client base. The acquisition of J.R.H. prompted the process of novation of J.R.H. contracts to Precision, LLC that is nearly finalized. This investment supports the company’s efforts in diversifying its operations into heli-skiing, USFS short-haul, and fire suppression with multiple state and federal agencies.
J.R.H based in Yakima, Washington has provided the western states with helicopter operations services 2002.
Operating a fleet of Airbus AS350B3’s J.R.H provided services across the helicopter utility market. J.R.H was founded by Jason Rubright, a pilot and aviation enthusiast whose father was an accomplished pilot who flew B-17s in World War II. Jason will continue to operate his fixed wing charter services under Generation Jets, LLC.
The purchase of J.R.H, has increased Precision’s helicopter fleet by three (3) AS350B3’s and one (1) Bell 206 Jet Ranger. With the addition of the J.R.H aircraft, Precision’s helicopter fleet is now comprised of the following aircraft Types: AS350B3’s, AS350B2’s, multiple Bell 206’s, and one Bell 205 A++ along with a training fleet of Guimbal Cabri G2’s, the modern and safe French built aircraft.
David Rath, CEO and Managing Director of Precision said, “It’s exciting to see where Precision is headed in the helicopter and greater aviation industry. Just five years ago we set out on a new path to gain diversity and strength through customer cooperation and employing the right team. We now have the privilege to say our customers became friends and other operators are now our teammates.
