Helis, July 25, 2019 - The EC135 helicopter operated by DL Helicopter Technik on behalf the German Navy for training achieved 5,000 flight hours.
Started in 2013, so far 44 pilots, 11 operators and 4 flight instructors have been trained at Nordholz.
Stationed with the Naval Aviation Wing 5 (MFG 5), the single EC135 is based in the civilian part of Nordholz Airport providing basic helicopter training in place of the much expensive Sea Lynx or Sea King currently used by he Navy.
