Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) and customization provider Eagle Copters at Calgary, Alberta received Canadian (TCCA) approval to operate their own Design Approval Organization (DAO)
DAO allows to conduct more extensive engineering operations for customers across many helicopter models within the airworthiness standards Part 27 ( helicopters<4ton) and Part 29 (helicopters>9ton)
Calgary, AB - Eagle Copters announced that they have received Transport Canada Civil Aviation (TCCA) approval to operate their own Design Approval Organization (DAO).
This will allow Eagle to conduct more extensive engineering operations for customers across many platforms within the Part 27 and 29 space.
Eagle is now able to obtain Supplemental Type Certificate and other design approvals for pre-existing and new projects that before would have required third-party input.
Eagle now adds having an in-house DAO to their “Worldwide Fleet Management” capabilities, offering services to operators globally.
