Omni Renews Contract with TotalEnergies in Brazil


Omni Táxi Aéreo (OTA), the Brazilian subsidiary of Omni Helicopters International (OHI), signed a 5-year renewal contract with TotalEnergies to provide helicopter transport services to the Lapa oil field, located 270 kilometers (170 miles) off the coast of São Paulo

For its previous contract, OMNI utilized its EC225 fleet to transport an average of 560 employees per month on daily flights from Jacarepaguá Airport to the Lapa field. With the new contract, Airbus H175 helicopters will be used for these operations

OMNI, December 12, 2024 - Rio de Janeiro, Brazil - Omni Táxi Aéreo, an affiliate of Omni Helicopters International Group, Latin America's leading provider of air mobility & delivery solutions, is proud to announce the renewal of its contract with TotalEnergies to operate the Lapa field.

Signed for an additional five years, it reinforces a solid and lasting partnership, built over six years of strategic collaboration and operational excellence.

This milestone represents the continuity of a relationship based on trust, the delivery of customized solutions, and a commitment to safe and efficient operations. During the new contract period, operations will be based at Jacarepaguá airport in Rio de Janeiro, with the support of a modern and diversified fleet of large, super-medium and medium-sized aircraft, carefully selected to meet TotalEnergies' operational demands.
