Exercise MORSA 2019 was designed to test and improve the procedures and inter-working of the Portuguese and Spanish SAR Agencies (co-ordinated by Lisbon SAR Centre and the Madrid SAR Centre). The exercise scenario was that two fire-fighting aircraft had crashed between Viseu and Guarda, in eastern central Portugal.
